About Thandai pudding Recipe

This is a Holi inspired desert, a decadent pudding made with thandai infused into it.

Ingredients to make Thandai pudding

  • Thandai masala:- 10 almonds
  • 5 choti elachi
  • 1/2 tsp saunf
  • 1/4tsp jeera
  • 1/2 tsp pepper corns
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp rose water
  • Dry rose petals
  • pistachio sliced
  • sugar to taste
  • Gelatine 2 tbsp
  • Wipped cream 1 cup
  • 1/2 lt milk

How to make Thandai pudding

  1. Soak above ingredients overnight in water except pistachio rose water & dry rose petals
  2. Grind the above ingredients to soft paste
  3. Add 4 tbsp water to gelatin & keep aside for 10 mins
  4. Boil milk with 2 tbsp of thandai masala and sugar as per taste.. Mix well till sugar is well dissolved
  5. Switch off the flame & stir it for 5 mins.. Now add gelatin to it & keep stirring till gelatin is completely dissolved
  6. Strain the above mixture & add rose to it and whipped cream
  7. Fold them gently.
  8. Pour this mixture into a desired container.
  9. Garnish it with pistachios and rose petals.
  10. Set it in fridge for 6 to 8 hrs

My Tip:

Setting it overnight gives better result
