An authentic odiya cuisin which is almost extinct now a days..my grandma used to make this and believe me its tastier than paneer or any other veg items

Ingredients to make pumpkin seed curry

  • pumpkin seed 1 cup
  • potatoes 2
  • onion 1
  • ginger 1 inch
  • garlic 10-12 cloves
  • zeera 1 tsp
  • coriander 1 tsp
  • red chilli 2
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • oil for frying
  • tomato 1 chopped

How to make pumpkin seed curry

  1. Soak pumpkin seeds for half an hour and grind it
  2. For the paste take onion,garlic,ginger,zeera,coriande r and red chilli
  3. Grind to a fine paste
  4. To the pumpkin seed paste add half tsp of the paste
  5. Add salt
  6. And cornflour
  7. Make small vada of it
  8. Fry till golden brown
  9. Fry sliced potatoes
  10. In a panheat oil..add bay leaf and the masala paste
  11. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder and salt
  12. Add chopped tomatoes
  13. Add water when oil separates
  14. Add the vadas and potatoes
  15. Cook in simmer gas
  16. Pumpkin seed curry is ready
