About Crisp Fried Jackfruit Recipe

A unique, crispy and delicious snack or a starter for any get together or a party.

Crisp Fried Jackfruit

Ingredients to make Crisp Fried Jackfruit

  • 500 grams raw jackfruit/kathal - peeled and cut into small cubes, seeds also peeled and cut into halves
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 1 teaspoon coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How to make Crisp Fried Jackfruit

  1. Wash the chopped jackfruit and seeds and strain and spread on a kitchen towel to absorb all the moisture
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the jackfruit and seeds in batches.
  3. Keep turning occasionally for the even frying and golden colour.
  4. Take out on an absorbent paper.
  5. Sprinkle all the dry spices, salt and lemon juice and coriander leaves generously and serve hot and crisp as a starter or a snack.

Serve crisp and hot
