About Malpuaa with almond rabdi Recipe

Malpuaa and rabdi both are different dishes from Rajasthan but when we eat malpuaa and rabdi toghether it makes great combination and awesome taste , here I have made almond rabdi instead of plain rabdi using nestle milkmaid , malpuaas are made of all purpose flour , curd and khoya/mawa , as I have used milkmaid here I skipped sugar here , friends do try.this recipe

Ingredients to make Malpuaa with almond rabdi

  • Ingredients for rabdi ---
  • 1&1/2 litres of milk
  • Half can of nestle milkmaid
  • Silvered almonds
  • 1/2 Cup of almond paste
  • 1Tsp of cardmom powder
  • Silvered pistachio
  • saffron strands soaked in milk
  • Ingredients for sugar syrup ---
  • 1cup of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of water
  • Ingredients for malpuaa -----
  • 130 gms of all purpose flour
  • 100 Gms of curd
  • 50 Gms of khoya/mawa
  • 1/2Cup of water or little more
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2Tsp of cardmom powder

How to make Malpuaa with almond rabdi

  1. ADD 1&1/2 LITRE OF MILK TO A DEEP PAN
  2. BRING THE MALAI TO THE SIDES OF PAN
  3. WHEN MILK REDUCES TO HALF THE QUANTITY , ADD HALF A CUP OF ALMOND PASTE TO MILK
  4. ADD HALF OF THE NESTLE MILKMAID CAN TO BOILING MILK
  5. WHEN MILK FURTHER REDUCES ADD CARDMOM POWDER , CHOPPED PISTACHIO AND ALMONDS
  6. ADD 1/2 TSP OF SAFFRON SOAKED IN MILK
  7. ALMOND RABDI IS READY
  8. REMOVE IT IN BOWL
  9. IN A BOWL ADD 130 GMS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP OF CARDMOM POWDER AND PINCH OF BAKING SODA
  11. ADD 100 GMS OF FRESH CURD AND 50 GMS OF GRATED KHOYA /MAWA
  12. WHISK IT
  13. ADD HALF CUP OF WATER
  14. BATTER SHOULD BE LUMP FREE AND IN FALLING CONSISTENCY
  15. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES
  16. ADD 1CUP SUGAR TO PAN AND HALF CUP OF WATER TO MAKE SUGAR SYRUP
  17. STIR IT IN INTERVALS AND MAKE 1 STRING SYRUP
  18. REMOVE SYRUP IN A BOWL
  19. ADD 1 CUP GHEE TO PAN FOR FRYING MALPUAAS
  20. POUR BATTER IN HOT GHEE WITH THE HELP OF LADDLE
  21. SPREAD HOT GHEE ON MALPUAAS WITH HELP OF FRYING SPOON
  22. FLIP THEM AS THEY TURN GOLDEN
  23. REMOVE FROM GHEE AND TRANSFER IT TO SUGAR SYRUP
  24. ARRANGE MALPUAAS IN SERVING PLATE AND SERVE IT WITH ALMOND RABDI
