About Palak nimona Recipe

Its a healthy curry made with some spices.

Palak nimona

Ingredients to make Palak nimona

  • 250 gm palak washed and chopped
  • 1 medium sized chopped onion
  • 1 medium sized chopped tomato
  • 2 medium sized boiled,peeled and chopped potaoes
  • 2 tsp garlic,ginger paste
  • 2 chopped chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp dhaniya powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste
  • 6-7 moong badi

How to make Palak nimona

  1. Grind the chopped palak and green chillies in mixer
  2. Add oil in kadhai and heat it
  3. Fry the moong badis golden in it and keep aside
  4. Add hing and cumin seeds in the oil
  5. When it cracks add ginger and garlic paste
  6. Now add chopped onion and fry it golden
  7. Now add tomato stir it for few minutes
  8. Now add all dry spices and roast it for few minutes and the palak paste into it
  9. Stir it for few minutes and add chopped potatoes into it
  10. Now mix salt and 1 litre water and it with lead
  11. Cook it for 5-7 minutes and off the flame
  12. Serve the tasty palak nimona with hot rice

My Tip:

You can make quantity of your gravy according to you.
