Matar Aaloo in Red Gravy

Ingredients to make Matar Aaloo in Red Gravy

  • 1tbsp ghee
  • 2 onion medium sizes washed and grinded
  • 3 tomato washed and grinded medium size
  • 150 gms matar wash properly
  • 1 tsp ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 big aloo cut medium size
  • And water according to gravy
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi
  • Pinch garam masala
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • Half tsp jeera

How to make Matar Aaloo in Red Gravy

  1. Take a cooker.
  2. Add ghee, when hot add jeera.
  3. When crackling add ggc paste and cook on low gas.
  4. When slight brown, add grinded onion and tomatoes all sukha masala and nicely cook..
  5. When oil leaves add matar and aloo and water according to gravy..
  6. Off the gas lid and give 2 vessels.. And off immediately.
  7. When pressure is out.. Empty in a bowl and sprinkle kasuri methi..

My Tip:

We can add Paneer and soya also instead of aloo..
