Malai Pyaaz

Ingredients to make Malai Pyaaz

  • onions small ones 10
  • water 2 cups
  • saffron few leaves
  • a pinch of mace
  • 2 pinches of nutmeg
  • sugar 1/4 tsp
  • malai 50 gms
  • curd not sour 1/2 bowl
  • paneer 20 gms
  • red chilli powder 1/4tsp
  • haldi pinch
  • salt to taste
  • jeera a pinch
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • cashew powder 2 tsp

How to make Malai Pyaaz

  1. Peel onions and make criss cross cuts on top of the vegetable, but not too deep
  2. Drop the onions in boiling water until they change color. Do not overcook.
  3. Strain them and keep aside
  4. In a bowl put curd, malai, haldi, salt, dhaniya powder ,red chilli powder,sugar
  5. Take ghee 2 tsp
  6. Put jeera 2 pinch and Add curd malai mixture. Stir and cook for few min
  7. Add cashew powder, mace, nutmeg , saffron,and grated paneer
  8. Stir for few min
  9. Add onions to it
  10. Cook for 2-3 minutes And its ready.
