Ingredients to make Jaggery malpua

  • wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Grated jaggery/gud - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1.5 cup
  • clarified butter - 2 tbsp
  • Crushed cashew nuts - 1 tbsp
  • raisins - 1 tbsp
  • oil - for frying

How to make Jaggery malpua

  1. Take a large bowl mix together wheat flour,jaggery/gud,cardamom powder,clarified butter,milk,cashew nuts and raisins.
  2. Make a smooth batter.
  3. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  4. Pour one tbsp batter into the hot oil.
  5. Deep fry in hot oil until golden in color.
  6. Flipping once in between.
  7. Always cook in medium flame.
  8. Serve hot.
