ABOUT malpuas with almond rabdi RECIPE

Malpuaas and rabdi both are different dishes from rajasthan but when we eat malpuaas and rabdi toghether it makes great combination and awesome taste , here I have made almond rabdi instead of plain one using nestle milkmaid , malpuaas are made of all purpose flour , curd , and khoya /mawa , as I have used milkmaid here I have skipped sugar in rabdi , friends do try this recipe and share your pic

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for rabdi ---
  2. 1&1/2 litres of milk
  3. Half can of nestle milkmaid
  4. Silvered almonds 2tbsp
  5. 1/2 Cup of almond paste
  6. 1 Tsp of cardmom powder
  7. Silvered pistachio
  8. Saffron strands soaked in milk
  9. Ingredients for sugar syrup
  10. 1Cup of sugar
  11. 1/2 Cup of water
  12. Ingredients for malpuaas
  13. 130 Gms of all purpose flour
  14. 100 Gms of curd
  15. 50 Gms of khoya/mawa
  16. 1/2 Cup or little more water
  17. Pinch of baking soda
  18. 1/2 Tsp of cardmom powder
  19. 3Tbsp of ghee for frying malpuaas

Instructions

  1. Add milk to a deep pan
  2. Bring malai to sides of the pan
  3. When milk reduces to half
  4. Add almond paste
  5. Add half can of milkmaid
  6. Add cardmom powder
  7. Add pistachio and almonds
  8. Add saffron soaked in water
  9. Almond rabdi is ready
  10. Remove in bowl
  11. Preparation of malpuaas
  12. Add flour in bowl
  13. Add cardmom powder
  14. Add curd
  15. Add soda
  16. Add khoya /mawa
  17. Whisk all toghether
  18. Add water batter should be lump free
  19. Batter should be in falling consistency
  20. Cover and keep aside for 10 Minutes
  21. Preparation of sugar syrup
  22. Add sugar to pan
  23. Add water and make one string syrup
  24. Remove syrup in bowl
  25. Making of malpuaas
  26. Add ghee to pan
  27. Pour batter in hot ghee
  28. Spread same hot ghee on upper side of malpuaas
  29. Flip them as they turn golden
  30. Remove and transfer them to syrup immediately
  31. Soak for sometime in sugar
  32. Serve them with rabdi
