Basundhi

Ingredients to make Basundhi

  • Milk 1 and 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1/4 cup
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • saffron few
  • almonds 5
  • pistachios 4
  • cashew nuts 5

How to make Basundhi

  1. Take thick bottomed kadai boil milk by stirring occasionally.
  2. After boiling add cashew nuts,almonds and pista.stir well
  3. Stir well till milk reduces.now add sugar and saffron
  4. Stir well for every 5 min.cook in low flame.stir continously till milk reaches thick consistency.
  5. Now add cardamom powder,saffron and chopped nuts.and serve it chilled.
