About Shallots in Paprika Gravy Recipe

Stir fried Shallot Fish cooked in tomato pureed gravy seasoned with paprika,and other spices.Tangy yummy with rice or rice rotis or even wheat parathas .A very quick prepation ,you can use any fish of choice in this Gravy.

Shallots in Paprika Gravy

Ingredients to make Shallots in Paprika Gravy

  • 5-6 Shallot fish pieces
  • 2 tomatoes pureed
  • 1tspn gingergarlic paste
  • 2 tblspn oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tblspn paprika
  • 1 tspn corriander powder
  • 1tspn red chilli powder
  • 1/4 th tspn turmeric
  • 1/2 tspn mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • Corriander
  • 1/4 tspn vinegar~

How to make Shallots in Paprika Gravy

  1. Grate tomatoes into fine puree
  2. De freeze shallots
  3. Keep sesoning ready too
  4. Heat a tblspn of oil in a pan,stir fry Shallots,curry leaves too
  5. Remove the shallots ,add oil in pan again
  6. Add mustard and curry leaves
  7. Add tomato puree with ginger garlic paste,saute
  8. Add the spices and cook 2 minurtes
  9. Lastly add paprika and sum water
  10. Mix well add vinegar here and stir fry for one minute
  11. Cook the gravy for 4-5 minutes with the shallots and close flame
  12. This awesome Shallots Fish gravy is ready
  13. Remove in a bowl ,serve with slices of onion,tomatoes carrots etc and enjoy with roti or garlic bread
  14. Serve fresh as done

To make this gravy taste best ,do it fresh to use
