Raddish poriyal

Ingredients to make Raddish poriyal

  • Raddish - 3
  • onion - 1
  • oil
  • mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • curry leaves - 1 spring
  • salt - as needed
  • urad dal - 2 tablespoon
  • red chilly - 5
  • coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Grated coconut - 2 tablespoon

How to make Raddish poriyal

  1. Wash peel and finely chop raddish. Set aside.
  2. Finely Chop onions and set aside.
  3. Dry roast urad dal, red chilly, coriander seeds till dal turns golden Color.
  4. Allow it cool.
  5. Grind it to a fine powder and set aside.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds.
  7. Once it starts spluttering add curry leaves.
  8. Add finely chopped onion and raddish. saute well raw smell goes away.
  9. Once raddish is cooked add finely grounded powder. Mix well.
  10. Add grated coconut and give a quick stir.
  11. Serve hot .
