Ingredients to make Tomato kuruma

  • onion 1
  • tomato 2
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • salt
  • oil : 1 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • cinnamon 1
  • cloves 2
  • elaichi 1
  • fennel seeds ½ tsp
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • For coconut paste
  • Grated coconut 3 tsp
  • Kasakasa ¼ tsp
  • cashews 5

How to make Tomato kuruma

  1. Heat oil in a pan add fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, elaichi , onion, curry leaves and saute for 1 min
  2. Add ginger garlic paste Add salt and chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, garam masala and cook for 1 min
  3. Add required water and cover with lid and cook for 5 min
  4. Add coconut paste and cook for 2 more min
  5. Add coriander leaves
