About QUICK PANEER GHEE ROAST Recipe

Paneer is a favourite to many. In fact it is one of those very few foods that is so filled with protein. This dish is made using ghee. Ghee, today is much recognized by many nutrition experts to be one of the most healthy ingredients for all ages. In all this dish is wholesome and healthy. QUICK PANEER GHEE ROAST

Ingredients to make QUICK PANEER GHEE ROAST

  • curd – 1 cup
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • paneer cubes – 250 gms
  • Dry red chillies – 8
  • coriander Seeds – 1 tsp
  • cumin seeds - ½ tsp
  • pepper corns – ½ tsp
  • fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp
  • Peeled garlic cloves – 8
  • ginger – 1 inch piece
  • tamarind – lemon ball size
  • ghee – 3 tbsp
  • green chillies – slit 3
  • onions chopped – 1 cup
  • curry leaves – few
  • water – ½ cup
  • jaggery – 1 inch size

How to make QUICK PANEER GHEE ROAST

  1. 1. Marinate the paneer cubes with curd, salt and turmeric powder for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Dry roast red chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper corns, fenugreek seeds, garlic cloves, ginger and tamarind one by one for a few minutes.
  3. Grind them into a smooth paste by adding some water.
  4. Heat 3 tbsp of ghee in a pan, add green chillies, chopped onions, curry leaves and fry till onions turn golden brown in color.
  5. Then add the grinded masala paste, fry for a minute or two adding some water. Then add marinated paneer cubes and a little jaggary. Cook till the oil leaves the edges.
  6. 4. Once the curry is cooked, serve it hot with, rotis, phulkas, pooris or rice
