Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Carrot...1/2kg
  2. Mawa...100gm
  3. Liquid date palm jaggery/ milkmaid..1 cup
  4. Cardamom powder...1/2tspn
  5. Paneer...100g
  6. Mawa...50gm
  7. Cardamom powder...1/2tspn
  8. Flour...2tspn
  9. Sugar...1cup
  10. Water..1cup
  11. Ghee or oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. For gulab jamun ,mix paneer,mawa,flour & cardamom powder & make a soft dough of it.
  2. Make small balls from dough & deep fry it till it turns golden brown.
  3. Make sugar syrup & dip the jamuns for 15 mins & then take out.
  4. Heat 2tspn ghee now in a pan& add grated carrot.Stir it constantly.
  5. Add cardamom powder, liquid jaggery & mawa.Mix it well.Carrot has its own water so I didn't use water or milk.Cover it & cook it well.
  6. When the mixture will start to leave the sides of the pan switch off the flame.
  7. Now take a square box, spread some carrot sandesh in it evenly
  8. Put some gulab jamuns in the centre line of the mixture.
  9. Now again spread carrot sandesh over it.
  10. Make it cool in room temperature & keep it in fridge for 2 hours.
  11. After that take out from fridge & cut it into pieces.
