How to make Paneer Dilkhush

  1. Cut the Paneer in a big Cube like shape and keep aside .( sometimes the paneer get hard while refrigerate so in order to make it soft put them in hot water for sometime )
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan , fry the chopped onion , garlic , ginger paste, cashew nuts , raisins and chopped tomato till golden brown . In a mixer bowl put all the fried veggies along with 1 tbsp of Garam Masala , 1/2 tbsp chilli powder and 1 tbsp curd and mix well to make a paste .
  3. Now put 1 tbsp of oil in that used pan and put the paste and sauté well . Though the veggies are already fried and cooked well so it will take lil time to prepare the dish
  4. Add salt and sugar to taste , coriander powder and required water to make the gravy . This preparation is lil sweet and tangy in taste so it contains some more sugar as usual .
  5. Add 1/2 tbsp of ghee and kasuri methi when the preparation is about to done and put the paneer cubes and cook for some minutes .
  6. Paneer Dilkhush is ready to serve with roti or parantha .

My Tip:

If u refrigerate the Panner it will get hard so to get rid of this hardness dip the Panner in luke warm water it become soft
