ABOUT Capsicum masala. RECIPE

A curry for chapathi & poori.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Capsicum 1 big cut it to square pieces.
  2. oil 2 tbsp
  3. Onion 1 chopped into square pieces.
  4. Green chillies 2 chopped
  5. Curry leaves a few
  6. Tomato 1 big pureed
  7. Ginger Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  8. The Masalas to add to the gravy.
  9. Chilli powder 1/2 tsp or according to taste
  10. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  12. Garam Masala 2 pinch.
  13. Salt
  14. Grind to a fine paste
  15. Cashew nuts 5
  16. Grated coconut 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp
  17. To Garnish
  18. Coriander leaves a few

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan.add mustard seeds. When it splutter, add ginger garlic paste. Fry.
  2. Then add onion & green chillies. Fry well.
  3. Add tomato puree, along with all Masalas. Fry till oil separates.
  4. Next add capsicum , ground coconut & cashew paste with 1 cup of water.
  5. Cover & cook till capsicum is well cooked & gravy is semi thick.
  6. Add coriander leaves. Stir well.
  7. Serve hot with chapathi or poori.
