Channa masala

Ingredients to make Channa masala

  • chickpeas  1 cup
  • onion  2
  • tomato 1
  • chilli powder  1 spoon
  • salt
  • ginger garlic paste 1 spoon
  • oil 2 tsp
  • Chana masala 1 spoon
  • cinnamon 1
  • cloves 2
  • coriander leaves

How to make Channa masala

  1. Soak the peas for 8 hours and Pressure cook for 10 min on medium flame and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a pan add cinnamon, clove, chopped onion and saute for 1 min Add tomato, ginger garlic paste and saute it
  3. Add salt, chilli powder, chana masala and saute for 30 sec
  4. Add required water and cook for 3 - 5 mins
  5. Add cooked chickpeas and cook for 2 - 3 min
  6. Add coriander leaves
