About Holi sevaiya Biranj with Strawberry Orange sauce. ( Holi without Sevaiya , no way ) Recipe

Holi sevaiya cooked by boiling in water,, sauted in ghee , cooked in milkmaid. Than served chilled with hot Strawberry Orange sauce.

Ingredients to make Holi sevaiya Biranj with Strawberry Orange sauce. ( Holi without Sevaiya , no way )

  • wheat sevaiya.1 bowl.
  • Enough water to boil sevaiya.
  • clarified butter 1 tsp.
  • Milk 1 bowl.
  • Milk maid 4 tbsp. + 2 tbsp more if needed.
  • Cardemom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Blanchard and chopped cashews ,2 tbsp
  • For sauce.
  • Strawberries 8 to 10 no
  • Brown sugar 4 tbsp ( add according to taste).
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • Orange juice 1 1/2 cup.
  • cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Holi sevaiya Biranj with Strawberry Orange sauce. ( Holi without Sevaiya , no way )

  1. Boil Sevaiya in enough water. Add clarified butter while cooking so they don't stick to each other and form lumps.
  2. Keep stirring inbetween. Once done strain. Pour water to cool.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan, add Sevaiya and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add milk and boil on high heat. Stir well so milk doesn't burn.
  5. Add milk maid and cook to get thick consistency.
  6. Add Cardemom powder.
  7. Add Cashews and remove from heat and cool.
  8. Refrigerate so it gets settled.
  9. Till your Sevaiya Birange gets set, take a non stick pan.
  10. Boil butter, brown sugar and Orange juice in it.
  11. Boil for 3 minutes. Chop Strawberries in very small bites.
  12. Add to the juice mixture.
  13. Keep stirring while cooking.
  14. Add Cinnamon powder. Turn the heat off.
  15. Spoon out Sevaiya Biranj in a bowl.
  16. Pour Strawberry and Orange Sauce over it.
  17. Your Holi desert is ready. Enjoy with family and friends.
