Ingredients to make Velladai

  • coconut milk : 1 1/2 cups
  • sooji : 6 tablespoons
  • egg : 1
  • onion : 1 (big)
  • oil : 3 tablespoons
  • salt : to taste

How to make Velladai

  1. ADD 6 TBLSPNS OF SOOJI &SALT TO COCONUT MILK MIX WELL WITHOUT LUMPS & LET IT REST FOR 15 MINUTES
  2. BEAT AN EGG WELL
  3. AFTER 15 MINUTES ADD THE EGG TO THE COCONUT MILK AND SOOJI AND MIX WELL
  4. HEAT OIL IN A PAN & ADD ONION
  5. SAUTE WELL UNTILL THE ONION BECOMES TRANSPARENT
  6. ADD THE ONION TO THE BATTER & MIX WELL
  7. HEAT DOSA TAWA AND GREASE WITH LITTLE OIL & POUR THE ADAI BATTER
  8. POUR LITTLE OIL AROUND THE ADAI
  9. ONCE THE BOTTOM IS COOKED TURN THE ADAI TO OTHER SIDE AND POUR LITTLE OIL
