About Strawberry Rasmalai Recipe

A traditional chena recipe is always tasty,but here chena recipe is with some change which makes it's really tasty and gives new look

Strawberry Rasmalai

Ingredients to make Strawberry Rasmalai

  • For Chena, 1 litre cow milk
  • 1/2 cup curd water or chena water
  • 1 tbsp maida
  • 1 tsp strawberry berry juice powder
  • 3 to 4 drops of strawberry food colour
  • For chashny,1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 litre water
  • Some maida and extra water
  • For strawberry ras,1 litre full fat milk
  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp strawberry crush
  • 5 to 6 fresh chopped strawberry
  • 1 tsp Strawberry essences
  • 1/4 tsp Green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped mixed dry fruits

How to make Strawberry Rasmalai

  1. For Chena, Take milk in a sauce pan and start to boil,when it's boil add gradually chena water or curd water in it and mix well,mix all water to till curdles are made
  2. Now transfer this mixture in a muslim cloth and washed this chena 2 to 3 times with drinking water nicely and finally hang this cloth to squeezed all water from this and hang it for 4 hours
  3. After 4 hours take chena in plain surface and start to mashed it for atleast 5 minutes
  4. Now add maida, strawberry juice powder and strawberry food colour in it,mashed and mix well
  5. Now make small round or disc shape (optional) size of this all chena mixture and keep aside
  6. For Chashny, Take sugar and water in sauce pan,start to gas on high to make chashny,when it's boil add one by one chena disc in it and continue boil on high flame for 12 to 15 minutes when boil cover it
  7. Add 2 to 3 times few drops of water to prevent the chashny is thick and sprinkle some maida to increase the highly boiling point
  8. For making Milk Ras, In between take milk in other sauce pan and start to boil now add sugar and when it also slightly thick switch of gas add some cardamom powder,2 to 3 drops strawberry essence and left to cool
  9. Other side when chena cook,it float on the surface and double in size left out from chashny and keep to cool
  10. When both cool,Chena disc and Milk Ras is cool, add strawberry crush, chopped strawberry,some chopped dry fruits and mix well and again keep in fridge to cool
  11. At time to serve, sprinkle some mixed chopped dry fruits over it and serve chill for more taste
  12. Now Strawberry Rasmalai is ready to serve
