Pumpkin halwa

Ingredients to make Pumpkin halwa

  • Yellow pumpkin grated-2 -3cups
  • Milk -250 ml
  • ghee -2 -3 tbsp
  • Almond,pista,cashews chopped - each 1 tbsp
  • saffron - pinch
  • cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Milkmaid sweet condensed milk - 200 gm

How to make Pumpkin halwa

  1. Peel and grate the ripened bright yellow colour pumpkin.
  2. Dissolve saffron in hot water.keep aside .
  3. Chop the nuts.
  4. In a heavy bottomed vessel heat ghee ,add grated pumpkinand saute it.
  5. Add milk and cook till soft.
  6. Add saffron milk,cardamom powder and nuts. Mix well.
  7. Add milk maid sweet condensed milk.add one more tbsp ghee.
  8. mix it.
  9. Yummy pumpkin halwa is ready.

My Tip:

Thickness,ghee,sweet is up to your taste.
