Dab Chingri is one of the authentic , traditional and delicious recipe of Bengal . Specially it is more then delicious when it is made by my Grandmaa . I am very glad to say that this is her one of the signature dish and it taste just heaven ......

DAB CHINGRI

Ingredients to make DAB CHINGRI

  • poppy seeds 2 tablespoons
  • Black mustard seeds 1 tablespoons
  • mustard oil 2 tablespoons
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • Milk 1 cup
  • White mustard seeds 2 tablespoons
  • Green chilli 6 / 8 no
  • coconut 1 cup
  • sugar 1 tablespoons
  • salt 1 teaspoon

How to make DAB CHINGRI

  1. ASSEMBLE ALL THE INGREDIENTS
  2. 2 TABLESPOONS POPPY SEEDS , 1 TABLESPOONS BLACK MASTURD SEEDS
  3. 2 TABLESPOONS WHITE MUSTARD SEEDS 6 NO GREEN CHILLI AND 1 TEASPOON SUGAR
  4. ADD 1 CUP OF COCONUT AND 1 CUP OF MILK
  5. MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE
  6. POUR IN A BOWL ADD SALT AND TURMERIC POWDER
  7. 2 TABLESPOONS OF MUSTARD OIL AND MIX WELL
  8. ADD PRAWNS
  9. COATED THE MASALA IN PRAWNS
  10. ENTER THE PRAWNS IN COCONUT
  11. COVER AND SEAL THE COCONUT
  12. SET IN A PRESSURE COOKER WITH A CUP OF WATER
  13. COVER THE COOKER WITH A LED AND REMOVE THE WHISTLE
  14. AFTER 10 MINUTES TO COOK AND SERVE
