Mysore pak

Ingredients to make Mysore pak

  • gram flour- 1cup
  • sugar- 2cups
  • water- 1/2 cup
  • ghee- 3cups + 1 teaspoon (to greese in tray)

How to make Mysore pak

  1. Dry roast gram flour in a pan till it nicely aromatic.
  2. Melt ghee in a separate pan.
  3. Make a sugar syrup with water and sugar till one string consistency.
  4. Add roasted gram flour to sugar syrup and mix well.
  5. Now add ghee little by little at a time and when the mixture fully absorbed the ghee transfer this to greased plate and cut into pieces when cool down..
