MORINGA LEAVES SIDEDISH-HEALTHY DRUMSTICK LEAVES FRY-MUNAGAKU FRY

Ingredients to make MORINGA LEAVES SIDEDISH-HEALTHY DRUMSTICK LEAVES FRY-MUNAGAKU FRY

  • oil – 2 tsp
  • urad dal – ½ tsp
  • mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  • cumin seeds – ¼ tsp
  • fenugreek seeds – 1/8 tsp
  • Dry red chillies – 2
  • curry leaves – few
  • onion chopped – 1 cup
  • garlic cloves peeled – ¼ cup
  • turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • salt – ¼ tsp
  • Dry moringa leaves – 2 cups
  • water – 2 tsp

How to make MORINGA LEAVES SIDEDISH-HEALTHY DRUMSTICK LEAVES FRY-MUNAGAKU FRY

  1. In a pan, add 2 tsp oil and heat it. Add ½ tsp urad dal, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ¼ tsp cumin seeds, 1/8 tsp fenugreek seeds, 3 dry red chillies, a few curry leaves and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add 1 cup chopped onions and ¼ cup peeled garlic cloves, ¼ tsp turmeric powder and ¼ tsp salt and again sauté them and cover with lid for 2 minutes.
  3. Once the onions are glazed, add 2 cups of dry moringa i.e. drumstick leaves, mix well once and add 2 tsp water and mix again and cook it on low flame with lid covered for 5 minutes till the raw flavor is gone.
  4. Moringa leaves fry curry is now ready to be served with hot rice… Eat it with raw onions, it’s so yummy… Thank you for reading the recipe!
