ABOUT Dry Red Garlic Chutney RECIPE

This chutney is very popular in Mumbai is and is served along with hot vada pav.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 tbsp dry Coconut powder
  2. 3 tbsp Sesame seed
  3. 2 tbsp peanuts
  4. 12-14 cloves of garlic
  5. 1 tsp red chili powder
  6. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a hot pan dry roast the sesame seeds, coconut and peanut each separately and keep them aside to cool.
  2. In same pan, heat 1 tsp oil, add the crushed garlic and fry till it slightly changes colour.
  3. When everything is cooled down. Put everything into the mixer jar, add red chili powder, salt and grind it.
  4. Serve this spicy chutney with Vada pav.
