ABOUT Pakores with potato curry RECIPE

A delicious curry made with left over pakodes and potatoes, to be served with some roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup leftover mixed pakore
  2. 4 potatoes
  3. 2 onions
  4. 2 tomatoes
  5. Salt
  6. 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  7. 1/4tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/4tsp garam masala
  10. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Boil, peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. Grind the onion and tomato into a paste. Keep aside.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  4. Add the onion & tomato paste.
  5. Saute for few minutes and then add the salt, powdered masalas.
  6. Add potatoes and mix.
  7. Cook the masala until it leaves oil.
  8. Add 2 glass water. Let this boil and get thick to form the gravy.
  9. Add pakoras and switch off the gas, mix and serve immediately.
  10. Serve hot with chapati.
