Ajwain leaf fritters

Ingredients to make Ajwain leaf fritters

  • Ajwain (carom) leaves - 5
  • Besan (chick pea flour) - 4 tablespoon
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Ajwain leaf fritters

  1. Wash the ajwain leaves and chop them finely.
  2. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and besan. (Note: Do not add any water)
  3. Keep kneading till it forms a dough.
  4. Divide the dough into small lemon size balls and flatten them.
  5. Fry on medium heat till golden brown.
  6. Ajwain leaf fritters can be served with rice or just as snacks.
