About YAM FRY WITH METHI LEAVES Recipe

Yam and methi, two super foods! Yam is a store house of health. Its complex carbohydrates help maintain the glycemic levels so it’s a recommended food for diabetics. Its soluble dietary fibre helps handle constipation and lower LDL or bad cholesterol and reduce incidences of colon cancer. It is loaded with vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin A and beta carotene – essential anti-oxidants. It is also an excellent source of trace minerals. Methi too has similar such health benefits and well documented. When yam and methi is fried in low oil, it is crunchy and yummy and children and adults would both love. Remember to buy a yam when you next visit the vegetable market and try this simple but tasty recipe once and let me know how you liked it… Happy cooking and joyful eating…
