Paneer Angara

Ingredients to make Paneer Angara

  • 200 grams paneer cubes
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Onion sliced 2
  • Tomato sliced 1
  • 1 tea spoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kitchen king masala
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 table spoon cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • For marination 1/2 cup gram flour
  • 2 tea spoon oil to shallow fry
  • 1/2 tea spoon chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

How to make Paneer Angara

  1. Take a pan on heat, add cumin seeds, onion and roast it. Cool it down. Then make paste of it by adding a little water.
  2. Meanwhile make puree of tomato too after boiling it.
  3. Now take a pan on gas, add oil then add garlic ginger paste. Add onion mixture and saute it.
  4. Add tomato puree in it. Cook it. Add salt, chilli powder, garam masala ,turmeric powder. Mix well.
  5. Take paneer cubes. Add gram flour in a bowl, add chilli powder, garam masala in it. Add water and make a thick batter. Now dip paneer cubes in it and shallow fry it.
  6. Add paneer cubes into gravy mixture. Cook for a while.
  7. Garnish with little shredded butter, paneer, coriander leaves and serve with paratha or naan.

My Tip:

You can deep fry the marinated paneer cubes.
