White Coconut Chutney

Ingredients to make White Coconut Chutney

  • 1 freshly scraped coconut
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp tamarind paste
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 7-8 curry leaves

How to make White Coconut Chutney

  1. In a food processor place fresh coconut, green chillies, garlic, tamarind paste, salt and sugar. With the help of little water grind and make a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer the chutney in a serving bowl.
  3. For tempering heat oil, add mustard seeds when it start to crackle add curry leaves and pour over the chutney and stir.
My Tip: Serve with idli, dosa or you use it on sandwiches also.
