ABOUT White Coconut Chutney RECIPE

This chutney was taught to me by my neighbour from Goa.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 freshly scraped coconut
  2. 2 green chilies
  3. 1/4 tsp sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp tamarind paste
  5. 2 cloves of garlic
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1 tbsp oil
  8. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  9. 7-8 curry leaves

Instructions

  1. In a food processor place fresh coconut, green chillies, garlic, tamarind paste, salt and sugar. With the help of little water grind and make a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer the chutney in a serving bowl.
  3. For tempering heat oil, add mustard seeds when it start to crackle add curry leaves and pour over the chutney and stir.
