This is an easy recipe to use the left over rice to make a delicious tawa style pulao.

Ingredients to make Tawa pulav chaupati style

  • Roasted cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
  • Cooked rice - 2 cups
  • Pav bhaji masala - 3 tbsp
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Boiled peas - 1/2 cup
  • cumin seeds - 2 tsp
  • tomatoes [chopped] - 2
  • refined oil

How to make Tawa pulav chaupati style

  1. Heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds followed by the tomatoes.
  2. Cook for few minutes.
  3. Then add the spices, salt, boiled peas and roasted cashew nuts. Give it a good mix and cook for sometime.
  4. Then add the cooked rice and give it a good mix. Stir and let this get cooked for sometime and serve hot.
