About Khus khus (poppy seed) ka halwa Recipe

I learned this recipe from my father. My Father used to make it for me often during exam sessions. Its good for health and Poppy seed and almonds works as power boaster and it works best in the morning

Khus khus (poppy seed) ka halwa

Ingredients to make Khus khus (poppy seed) ka halwa

  • khus khus 1 cup
  • almond 10-12
  • Milk 1 1/2cup
  • sugar 1/2cup
  • ghee 1 tbsp

How to make Khus khus (poppy seed) ka halwa

  1. Wash khus khus and then soak in water for overnight and a also soak almonds in water .
  2. Take a jar and put khus khus and grind it Remove the skin of almond and grind with khus khus and keep aside
  3. Take a pan heat it and put ghee and put the mixture of almond, khus khus and stire it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes
  4. Now add milk stire it cook till milk is completely dissolved in khaskhas
  5. Now add sugar and stire well and cook till sugar is dissolved
  6. Khus khus halwa is ready

My Tip:

You can grind khakhas with Silbatta to make a taste better and to give "Deshi touch "
