Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 36 Oreo biscuits (chocolate)
  2. 100 gm melted butter (for the crust) + 100 gm butter (for the caramel)
  3. 1+ 1/4 cups heavy cream
  4. 2/3 cup brown sugar
  5. 340 gm chocolate finely chopped (I prefer dark chocolate)
  6. fruits/nuts - for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender/food processor, crush the Oreos (with the filing) till it becomes a sand like texture. Mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the tart tin. (9-10 inch tin). Freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and butter in a small pan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly. Once it starts to bubble, cook for a further one minute, keep whisking it. Take it off the heat and whisk in 1/4 cup cream. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the caramel over the chilled crust and freeze for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Put the chocolate in a heat proof bowl. Heat the cream just till it comes to a boil.Pour the cream over the chocolate. After a few minutes, stir/whisk till absolutely smooth. Pour the chocolate over the caramel and refrigerate at least30min
