About Tamatar chutney Recipe

This is a very quick recipe of tomato chutney, that can be served with roti or parathas.

Ingredients to make Tamatar chutney

  • 4 tomatoes
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • red chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • green chillies - 2
  • mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Refined oil
  • garlic cloves - 4

How to make Tamatar chutney

  1. Heat a pan with some oil. Add the mustard seeds, garlic cloves and green chillies, Fry for few seconds.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes, spices, salt and the coriander leaves.
  3. Stir and cook until the tomatoes are mushy and done.
  4. This chutney is ready to be served.
