My kids love this type of dosa, crispy, sweetish dosa for all times.

Sweet dosa

Ingredients to make Sweet dosa

  • White rice 1 glass
  • Whole Urud dal 1/2 glass
  • Boiled rice 3/4 glass
  • water 1 glass
  • sugar
  • ghee
  • salt

How to make Sweet dosa

  1. Soak urud dal and white rice for 4 hours
  2. Grind it by adding boiled rice and water to a smooth batter. It should not be too thick and too loose
  3. Keep it for fermentation for 5- 6 hours in a warm place
  4. Add salt to it and mix well
  5. Heat a pan pour a ladle full of batter on the tawa center and spread it evenly in a circular shape.
  6. Brush ghee over it and allow to cook on a medium high heat until golden.
  7. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar over it and fold in to triangle.
  8. Repeat making more on the hot tawa.
  9. Serve hot .
