About Shahi Veg Recipe

Dry fruits vegetable in jain gravy, to be served with some roti on the side.

Shahi Veg

Ingredients to make Shahi Veg

  • Half cup almonds
  • Half cup cashew
  • 1/4 cup pista
  • 10-15 kishmish
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • Half bowl cream
  • 1 bowl makhane
  • 1cup tomato paste
  • 2 green chilli
  • 4-5 dry dates
  • 1/2 spoon corriander powder
  • 1/2 turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 spoon cumin seeds
  • 2 spoon ghee

How to make Shahi Veg

  1. Take ghee in a pan and roast all dry fruits except cashew
  2. Put them aside
  3. Now take some more ghee in cooker add cashew paste in it
  4. Now add cumin seeds,corriander powder,turmeric powder and roast it
  5. Roast them properly add tomato puree to it
  6. When gravy starts leaving ghee add cream
  7. Now add roasted dry fruits to it
  8. Wait for single whistle
  9. Garnish it with corriander leaves and dry fruit powder
