About Kheru Recipe

Its a very easy ,tasty, delicious soup of Himachal,

Kheru

Ingredients to make Kheru

  • 1 cup curd
  • salt to taste
  • 3 dry red chilli
  • Half tsp cumin seeds
  • Half tsp coriander seed
  • Asoffotida 1pinch
  • Turmuric pwdr half tsp
  • red chilli pwdr half tsp
  • coriander pwdr half tsp
  • Musturd oil 1 tbsp
  • 1 big onion

How to make Kheru

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP MUSTURD OIL IN A PAN THEN ADD HALF TSP CUMIN SEEDS, HALF TSP CORIANDER SEEDN1PINCH ASOFFOTIDA, 3 DRY RED CHILLI,
  2. AFTER HALF MINS ADD 1 BIG CHOPPED ONION & SAUTE TILL TRANSPARENC,
  3. WHEN THE ONION IS COOKED,THEN ADD HALF TSP TURMURIC PWDR,HALF TSP REDCHILLI PWDR, HALF TSP CORIANDER PWDR, &MIX WELL
  4. THEN ADD SALT TO TASTE,& 1 CUP BEATEN CURD,
  5. STIR CONTINUOUSLY FOR 3 TO 4 MINS,IN A LOW FLAME, SERVE HOT.
