About Dum alu in black spices gravy Recipe

This is my mothers recipe .balck species made by roasting onion coconut on gas black till black colour appear. Tnen grind and make past to use in garvy.its tast really delicious and yummy

Ingredients to make Dum alu in black spices gravy

  • Dum alu potatoes 8-10
  • For black spices :
  • onion 1
  • Cocount1/4piece
  • Green chilli 1
  • For row species
  • Whole coriander 1table spoon
  • Black pepper 4no
  • Cadamom 3no.
  • Bealf leaves 1
  • peanuts 1/4cup
  • For gravy
  • Oil2 table spoon
  • Red chilli powder 1 table spoon
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt as par tast
  • ginger garlic past 1 teaspoon
  • coriander fine chooped 1 teaspoon
  • water 1 cup

How to make Dum alu in black spices gravy

  1. Firstly boiled dun alus for 2 whistel.
  2. Remove onion skin.
  3. On gas flame roast onion cocount and green chill.till black colour appear
  4. After remove from gas .cool it.cut onion grate cocount and green chilli.
  5. Take all in plate
  6. Grind to make a soomth past
  7. Remove skin of boiled potato.and with fork give holes to all potatoes.
  8. In pan heat oil add coriander cardamom black pepper and belef leaver saute to golden colour.
  9. Cool it.
  10. Grind and make a fine powder.
  11. In pan heat oil add onions and cocount past and saute tiill it removes oil from edges of pan.
  12. Then add coriander and cardamom powder mixture. Mix well and add all species like red chilli powder garam masala turmeric powder.
  13. Mix well add 1/2cup of water.and salt.
  14. Boil it add dum alu.
  15. Cover with lead and cook for 5 minutes.
  16. Serve hot with roti and rice.

My Tip:

Raost more blck to get more black colour to gravy.
