About Dahi ke kabab Recipe

Dahi ke kabab are kababs crisp outside, soft melt in mouth inside. This is a delicacy from Punjabi cusine, perfect for party starter.

Ingredients to make Dahi ke kabab

  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • cottage cheese 1/4 cup
  • onion 1
  • ginger paste 1 tesp
  • Green chilies 2
  • Green coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  • salt 1/2 tesp
  • Black pepper powder 1/4 tesp
  • Corn flour to dust
  • oil for deep frying

How to make Dahi ke kabab

  1. MASH 1/4 CUP OF COTTAGE CHEESE NICELY.
  2. MASH TILL SMOOTH.
  3. IN A BOWL TAKE HALF CUP HUNG CURD, 1/4 CUP SMOOTHED COTTAGE CHEESE.
  4. ADD 2 TBSP GOLDEN FRIED ONIONS, 1 TESP GINGER PASTE, CHOPPED GREEN CHILIES.
  5. ADD 1 TBSP GREEN CORIANDER LEAVES, 1/2 TESP SALT, 1/4 TESP BLACK PEPPER POWDER.
  6. ADD 1/4 CUP DRIED BREAD CRUMBS.
  7. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS WELL.
  8. GREASE THE PALM. PINCH A PORTION OF MIXTURE, SHAPE INTO KABAB AND ROLL IN CORNFLOUR.
  9. SHAPE WHOLE MIXTURE INTO KABABS.
  10. PLACE KABABS IN HOT OIL.
  11. FRY GOLDEN AND CRISP ON BOTH SIDES, ON MEDIUM HEAT.
  12. DRAIN ON ABSORBENT PAPER.
  13. SERVE WITH GREEN CORIANDER CHUTNEY.
