Red Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients to make Red Chicken Nuggets

  • 500 gms boneless chicken (cut into medium size pieces)
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 tbsp chicken masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp red/ orange food colour
  • Salt to taste

How to make Red Chicken Nuggets

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except the chicken to make a thick paste.
  2. Wash and clean the chicken and add it to the bowl. Mix it well and let it marinate for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. Once its well marinated, transfer the chicken to a thick bottomed pan. Cover and cook on a slow flame. Keep stirring at regular intervals till the chicken is cooked and all the liquid from the marinade dries up.
  4. Heat a little oil in a shallow frying pan and fry the nuggets on both sides.
  5. Serve it hot with mint chutney or any other dip.
My Tip: Frying in oil is optional as the nuggets are already cooked.
