Ragi Halwa

Ingredients to make Ragi Halwa

  • Ragi 1 cup
  • jaggery 1/4 cup
  • cashew few
  • ghee 3 tsp
  • water as required

How to make Ragi Halwa

  1. Soak ragi for 4 hours.
  2. After grind it and strain it and take Ragi milk.
  3. In pan add ragi milk and 1/2 cup of water stir well.cook.for 10 min.
  4. Now add strained melted jaggery water and stir well till it reaches thick.now add little ghee.
  5. Mix well.after 5 min add 1 tsp of ghee.add roasted cashew,almonds.
  6. Add 1 tsp of ghee.Stir well till it reaches Halwa consistency.
  7. Put it into greased plate.leave it for 10 min.after cut and serve it.
