Gatte Ki Sabzi

Ingredients to make Gatte Ki Sabzi

  • besan 1.5 cup
  • curd 1.5 cup+2.5 tbs
  • oil 1/4 cup +2 tbs
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder 1.5 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala 1.5 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • fennel seeds Powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Carom seeds 1 tsp
  • Musturd seeds 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

How to make Gatte Ki Sabzi

  1. TAKE 1.5 CUPS GRAM FLOUR, ADD 1.5 TSP TURMERIC, 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS, 1/2 TSP FENNEL SEED POWDER
  2. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI POWDER & SALT, 2 TBSP OIL
  3. ADD 2.5 TBSP CURD & MIX
  4. ADD SOME WATER, KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH
  5. SPREAD A FEW DROPS OF OIL ON TOP, KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  6. MAKE SMALL ROLLS OUT OF THE DOUGH
  7. BOIL THE ROLLS FOR 5-7 MINS ON LOW HEAT
  8. TAKE OFF HEAT, COOL A LITTLE, CUT INTO SMALL PIECES
  9. GATTE ARE READY
  10. HEAT 1/4 CUP OIL, ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  11. ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
  12. ADD 3-4 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, 1 TSP GINGER PASTE, SAUTE FOR 2-3 MINS ON LOW HEAT
  13. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC, 1 TSP CORIANDER, 1.5 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & KITCHEN KING MASALA POWDERS
  14. ADD 2 TBSP WATER & COOK FOR 2 MINS
  15. ADD 1.5 CUPS BEATEN CURD, STIR CONTINUOUSLY FOR 2 MINS
  16. ADD SALT TO TASTE, THE READY GATTE, SIMMER ON LOW HEAT FOR 3-4 MINS
  17. TAKE OFF THE HEAT, GARNISH WITH CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER
