A delicious snack made with chana dal, to be served with evening tea.

Chana dal bhajias

Ingredients to make Chana dal bhajias

  • 2 cups chana dal
  • 8 to 10 cloves garlic
  • 4 to 6 green chillies
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 3 onions chopped
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp red chilli pd
  • 1/4 tsp haldi pd
  • 1 tsp kitchen king masala
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Chana dal bhajias

  1. Soak the dal for 4 to 5 hours
  2. Grind the dal with garlic, cumin seeds and green chillies, add little water if needed
  3. When grinding is done add chilli pd, haldi pd and kitchen king pd
  4. Add chopped onions ,salt
  5. Then add coriander leaves
  6. Add baking pd mix well
  7. Heat oil in a kadai when hot put mixture with hand or spoon
  8. Fry till golden
  9. Remove on a kitchen paper tissue
