Chicken Burger

Ingredients to make Chicken Burger

  • Minced chicken 1 cup
  • Onions chopped 1 piece
  • Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  • Carrots grated 1 cup
  • Tomatoes (deseeded and chopped) 1 piece
  • Mushrooms 1 cup
  • Capsicum (red,green and yellow) 1 cup
  • Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  • Egg 1 piece
  • Paprika 1 tsp
  • Cheese slices 5 pieces
  • Buns 5 pieces
  • Coleslaw 1 cup

How to make Chicken Burger

  1. In a pan, saute the garlic then add the onions and saute it well.
  2. Then add the tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots and salt. Saute and cook till it is tender.
  3. In a bowl add the minced chicken, capsicums, cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, garlic powder, paprika, chilli flakes, pepper powder and the sauted veggies .
  4. Whisk the egg in another bowl and add half of the egg mixture to the chicken.
  5. Shape it in patties according to the bun size you prefer and grill it on both sides. Now cut the buns and grill it on the same tawa of the chicken (to get the flavour).
  6. Also keep the lettuce, coleslaw, patties and cheese slice on the buns and enjoy it!

My Tip:

You can substitute mozzarella cheese with cheddar cheese.
