Gol gappe

Ingredients to make Gol gappe

  • wheat flour(maida)
  • semolina(suji)
  • tamarind
  • Black salt
  • White salt
  • oil
  • cumin seeds(zeera)
  • sugar
  • pudina dried
  • coriander leaves
  • Grams
  • red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Gol gappe

  1. For making gol gappe , firstly mix suji and maida flour and knead it to make a fine dough.
  2. Make a big chappati of this dough and cut out little circle shaped chappatis of it with a cutter.
  3. Fry these little chappatis like items in oil either refined or mustard oil.
  4. Now we will move on make its pani , Add mint leaves , green chillies, coriander leaves to a chutney jar and then make a fine paste of it while grinding add lemon juice or tamarind water while grinding.
  5. For masala: Take , grams , red chilli powder , salt to taste, and mix them well.
  6. For assembling: Get a plate and set gol gappes on it ; with your index finger make a little hole in the gol gappe ball and add the above mentioned masala in it and then add water in it..

My Tip:

Add lemon water or tamarind water in grinding not separately with mint.
