About Alu Vadi Recipe

Its a Maharashtrian dish.

Alu Vadi

Ingredients to make Alu Vadi

  • Alu Vadi leaves - 3-4
  • Gram flor - 1cup
  • rice flor - 2/3tablepsoon
  • salt - As required
  • turmeric powder - 1/2tablespoon
  • Redchillie powder - 1/2tablespoon
  • cumin powder - 1/2tablepsoon
  • water - 3/4cup

How to make Alu Vadi

  1. Wash the alu vadi leaves and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl take gram flor and rice flor add all the powders to it add water and salt and mix it well.
  3. Apply a thin layer of this paste to the leaves than role the leaves and cut it.
  4. Then steam this vadis in an idli steamer.
