My Tip:Add more salt if storing for a longer period as the salt acts as a preservative. * You can store the pickle in refrigerator as well if you fear it getting spoiled. * Exposure to Sun would depend on weather. If it is good sunny weather then it may be ready in 3-4 days. Since the weather here was mostly cloudy with persistent rains, it took 6 days for it ripen well.
