About Samosa cigar Recipe

Samosa is everyones favourite , here i made crispy bite size cigar with samosa filling and samosa patti , it can be a perfect snack for any party

Samosa cigar

Ingredients to make Samosa cigar

  • 10 samosa patti
  • 2 boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 tsp chilly ginger paste
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dryango powder
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • salt to taste
  • Corriender leaves
  • 4 tbsp maida /cornflour slury
  • oil for frying

How to make Samosa cigar

  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok , add cumin to splutter then add gingrr chilly paste and saute for few seconds
  2. Add boiled and mashed potatoes and all the dry spices and mix well , stuffing is ready
  3. Now cut the samosa patti into 2 halves from the middle
  4. Place a spoonful stuffing on the half cut samosa patti and roll it , hold the patti with toothpics from the ends
  5. Dip the roll in maida slury from both the open edges to seal them
  6. Heat oil in a wok and fry the roll till crisp or golden brown
  7. Serve hot

My Tip:

Seal the roll as shown in picture and then fry
