Oats idli is healthy and yummy .its easy to make and yummy in taste

Oats idli

Ingredients to make Oats idli

  • Oats flour 3/4 cup
  • semolina 1/4 cup
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curd/yogurt 1 cup
  • water 3/4 (lukewarm)
  • For tempering
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • a pincj of red chili powder
  • some chopped cashews
  • Eno

How to make Oats idli

  1. In a bowl add sooji, oats flour,salt and sugar and mix well.
  2. Now add curd and water and mix well
  3. keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  4. Now prepare steamer
  5. Grease the mould
  6. in a pan ,heat oil , add mustard seeds .When it cracks then add red chili powder and cashews.
  7. Pour this tempering into idli batter
  8. Add eno in the idli batter and mix well.
  9. Take one and half table spoon batter and pour in to eacn and every idli mould
  10. After 25 minutes idli is ready . serve with cilantro coconut chutney
